Twinkle Khanna is an Indian author, columnist and former actress. A daughter of actors Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna, she made her acting debut with a leading role in the film Barsaat (1995), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. After playing the leading lady in such films as Jaan (1996), Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998), International Khiladi (1999), Baadshah (1999), and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001), she quit acting.
